Third Generation Computer
Third generation computers arose with the invention of small electronic circuits called Integrated Circuits in 1965.
Integrated Circuits are square silicon chips containing circuitry that can perform functions of hundreds of transistors.
Instead of punched cards and printouts , users interacted with third generation computers keyboard and monitors and interfaced with an operating system.
Allowed devices to run more than one applications at a time.
Computers, for the first time became accessible to mass audience because they were smaller and cheaper than their predecessors.
